1) Due date for deposit of Tax deducted/collected (TDS, TCS) for the month of June, 2022. All sum deducted/collected by an officer of the government shall be paid to the Central Government on the same day where tax is paid without production (creating)of an Income-tax Challan. 2) Due date for deposit of TDS for the period (April 2022 to June 2022 ) when Assessing Officer has permitted quarterly deposit of TDS under section 192, 194A, 194D or 194H Section 192 - Any person responsible for paying any income chargeable under the head "Salaries" in addition, any income chargeable under any other head of income (not being a loss under any such head other than the loss under the head "Income from house property") for the same financial year, he may send to the person responsible for making the payment referred to in sub-section (1) the particulars ofâ€” (a) such other income and of any tax deducted thereon under any other provision of this Chapter; (b) the loss, if any, under the head "Income from house property", in such form and verified in such manner as may be prescribed, and thereupon the person responsible as aforesaid shall takeâ€” (i) such other income and tax, if any, deducted thereon; and (ii) the loss, if any, under the head "Income from house property", also into account for the purposes of making the deduction under sub-section (1) : Provided that this sub-section shall not in any case have the effect of reducing the tax deductible except where the loss under the head "Income from house property" has been taken into account, from income under the head "Salaries" below the amount that would be so deductible if the other income and the tax deducted thereon had not been taken into account. 194A.(1) Any person, not being an individual or a Hindu undivided family, who is responsible for paying to a resident any income by way of interest other than income by way of interest on securities, shall, at the time of credit of such income to the account of the payee or at the time of payment thereof in cash or by issue of a cheque or draft or by any other mode, whichever is earlier, deduct income-tax thereon at the rates in force : Provided that an individual or a Hindu undivided family, whose total sales, gross receipts or turnover from the business or profession carried on by himexceed [one crore rupees in case of business or fifty lakh rupees in case of profession] during the financial year immediately preceding the financial year in which such interest is credited or paid, shall be liable to deduct income-tax under this section. 194D.Any person responsible for paying to a resident any income by way of remuneration or reward, whether by way of commission or otherwise, for soliciting or procuring insurance business (including business relating to the continuance, renewal or revival of policies of insurance) shall, at the time of credit of such income to the account of the payee or at the time of payment thereof in cash or by issue of a cheque or draft or by any other mode, whichever is earlier, deduct income-tax thereon at the rates in force : Provided that no deduction shall be made under this section from any such income credited or paid before the 1st day of June, 1973: Provided further that no deduction shall be made under this section in a case where the amount of such income or, as the case may be, the aggregate of the amounts of such income credited or paid or likely to be credited or paid during the financial year to the account of, or to, the payee, does not exceed fifteen thousand rupees.
